Laura Cockrill is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (51°µÍø), where she leads the team responsible for 51°µÍø¡¯s capital management and financial reporting functions. She is a member of 51°µÍø's Executive Committee.
Prior to her current role, she served as Chief Strategy Officer at 51°µÍø, responsible for shaping, communicating, and executing the company¡¯s strategic vision. With over 25 years at 51°µÍø, Laura has built a distinguished career marked by progressive leadership within the Finance division. She has also served as the organization¡¯s Deputy Chief Financial Officer and, before that, as Chief Financial Officer for the Americas region. Her journey through the company has included a wide range of finance roles, giving her deep expertise across business, capital, collateral, investments, treasury, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
Laura is a respected mentor to numerous associates and serves on multiple boards within 51°µÍø¡¯s operating structure, reflecting her commitment to leadership development and organizational stewardship.
She holds a bachelor¡¯s degree from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
